Louise has been the Business Centre Manager for five and a half years, during which time she has most enjoyed meeting a variety of new people and having the responsibility of managing three prestigious buildings in London’s West End. “I particularly enjoy interacting with many clients of differing sizes”, she says, “as it means no two days are ever the same.”Upon entering 53 Davies Street, it was immediately evident why they had won the award: the recently refurbished reception is a stunning area and has a wonderful new marble floor as well as a set of chic, new furniture. Louise says, “clients are well provided for, as centre facilities include the use of beautiful showers complete with towels and toiletries. We have stunning state-of-the-art meeting rooms as well as kitchen points stocked with fresh coffee, cold drinks and snacks.”
A beautiful Grade II listed townhouse, the building is steeped in history and has retained many of its original features from its use as the headquarters for Grosvenor Estate who occupied the building from 1836 to 2000. The building is further complimented by its own beautiful private garden which can be used by the clients for functions or as a place to relax at lunchtime.
A combination of the recent refurbishments coupled with the natural beauty of the building and the efforts of the team has led to an occupancy level of above 85% let. Louise says “I am incredibly proud of the team’s hard work, and I am certain that we will all continue to provide an excellent service to our clients. Our main focus now is to ensure that occupancy not only stays at this level but also increases.”
